Restoring grandmas antique veneer wood furniture takes a delicate touch and more than just skilled carpentry......
The original missing chip was long gone and a piece of antique scrap veneer left over from another project had to be blended in by careful hand painted grain matching.
The veneer top of this antique end table was completely destroyed and had to be replaced.
The base wood was repaired and planed to take out warpage. The new veneer top was color matched to the rest of the table.
This truck had an unfortunate incident with a tree.....
If it can be fixed, we can fix it, and this was a particularly satisfying project!
